CANCER CENTER
AT WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
WVU Cancer Institute’s Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center (MBRCC) is the premier facility in the WVU Cancer Institute system of care centers. As the flagship of the Cancer Institute’s mission, it provides mammography, infusion therapy, and radiation oncology to a full range of oncological specialties in a patient-centered, family-friendly environment. MBRCC also serves as the home for West Virginia University’s Clinical Research Unit which gives patients the opportunity to participate in advanced clinical trials, immune-based therapies, and other experimental treatments.
The 44,000 square feet of renovations include waiting/reception spaces, a new USP 800-compliant pharmacy, a 16,000 SF outpatient clinic, infusion spaces, physician offices, and multidisciplinary collaboration spaces.
Responsible for: Revit model (schematic design through permit), door hardware coordination, life safety/code approvals, and constructability assistance.
